CEO Reviews

Philip Kaplan, Founder, DistroKid

“Silversmith had faith in what I had done as a founder to make DistroKid a successful company and they were not investing in me to change that.”

Tom Ormondroyd, CEO, Vastian

“Silversmith is a rare find in private equity – a genuinely supportive team that trusts management to do what they do best. They’re always there when you need them and not there when you don’t, making them true partners in every sense.”

Jim Jacobs, President & CEO, MediQuant

“Silversmith understands that not every company is the same. They don’t have a playbook and don’t tell a founder how to run their company, even when they have invested as a majority owner. I appreciate that.”

Abhishek Gupta, CEO, Nira Medical

“Over the course of my career, I have worked in close collaboration with 20-25 healthcare partners from top tier firms across the country. I would without hesitation rank the Silversmith team at the top of that list.”

Ron Books, CEO, Net Health

“Silversmith has been an exceptional partner to Net Health, providing strategic value through their deep healthcare expertise and hands-on support in areas like M&A, market analysis, and strategic planning. The Silversmith team are not only outstanding investors but also incredible people—trusted collaborators who genuinely care about our success.”

Derek Swaim, CEO, JETNET

“What truly sets Silversmith apart is their people. This is my second time working them, and what I value most is the quality of relationships and the balance of empowering us to run our business independently while stepping in with strategic advice when needed.”

Charles Rutstein, Chairman and CEO, Opensignal

“Silversmith is simply the private equity partner you want to have.  I’ve worked with many of the top private equity firms, but few can match the wisdom, intellect, creativity, and values alignment that I’ve found with Silversmith.  Great investors who know what it takes to find the right deals – and manage them through to a successful exit.”

James Hyde, CEO, Venminder

“Working with Silversmith has been transformative for our company. Not only did their expertise and industry networks provide invaluable support, but the unexpected benefit of networking with other Silversmith portfolio clients opened a wealth of shared experiences.”

Cassidy Smirnov, CEO, Apryse

“Silversmith’s deep experience helping software companies scale, paired with their pattern recognition, has been invaluable. They listen, work hard, and have been a great growth partner to me.”

Jason VandeBoom, Founder & CEO, ActiveCampaign

“Silversmith is just different from other firms out there. They are truly founder friendly and supportive in their nature. I know a lot of people say this, but they actually live it.”

Juli Spottiswood, Chairman, Onbe

“Silversmith is more of a family. They are real people who care. They care about one another, about their founders and the people at their portfolio companies. This is rare, if not unique.”

William Chan, CEO & Co-Founder, Iodine Software

“Jeff, Brian and the Silversmith team are highly knowledgeable investors who understand the healthcare space. Just as importantly, they are great partners, advisors, sounding boards and are always there to back you up and cheer you on. As a founder, you need that.”

Mike Owens, Former CEO & Founder, Absorb Software

“Silversmith set itself apart by showing me how much they understood my business and outlined a vision for the future of the company. They really understood our business model and did not just come in with a predefined playbook like others did. Jim and Marc were also truly interested in Absorb and the people at the company. I knew from our first meeting they really wanted to know about the human component to the business which was important to me.”

Randall Ward, Co-Founder, Appfire

“Board rooms often house 160 IQs and egos that could double as wallpaper, but emerging investors like Sri Rao and his firm Silversmith Capital Partners represent a disruptive changing of the guard.”

David Yovanno, CEO, impact.com

“Silversmith has been an invaluable investment partner as we invest in sales and marketing initiatives, expand our geographic footprint, and acquire complementary technology.”

Mark Simner, CEO, TMA Systems

“We all strive to create value in the companies in which we operate, and I have found Silversmith Capital Partners transparency and insights to be refreshing. Their willingness to debate and challenge ideas is empowering and I believe leads to great outcomes. I would highly recommend Silversmith Capital Partners to any Founder, CEO or leadership team interested in fueling future growth.”

Adam Miller, Founder & CEO, Centauri Health Solutions

“It’s all about your reputation in this business and Silversmith has the best. The firm has been    everything I could hope for in a partner.”

Mark Briggs, Chairman & CEO, Validity

“Numbers are not important to me, it’s the people who matter when it comes to an investment  partner.”
