1GENE YOON

Gene Yoon is the Managing Partner and Founder of Bregal Sagemount, where he helps lead the firm’s investment activities and has been personally responsible for portfolio companies including Netrada, Network Merchants, and Vital Insights. He has also previously invested in AFS Technologies (sold to Court Square Capital Partners), Amber Road, Global Tower Partners (sold to The Blackstone Group), and ViaWest (sold to Oak Hill Capital Partners). Yoon began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in investment banking before moving to Geocast Network Systems as Director of Corporate Development, Great Hill Partners as Partner, and Goldman Sachs’ Americas Special Situations Group as Head of Private Equity.

2JULES MALTZ

Jules Maltz is a General Partner at Institutional Venture Partners, where he focuses on later-stage venture capital investments in high growth Internet and software companies. Since joining in 2008, Jules has led investments in Buddy Media (CRM), Dropbox, Indiegogo, Progreso Financiero, RetailMeNot (SALE), TuneIn, Zendesk (ZEN), and Zenefits. Before joining IVP, Jules worked for global venture capital firm 3i.  Jules is also currently on the National Advisory Council for Techbridge, a nonprofit organization that helps girls discover technology and science. 3ALISON KILLILEA

Alison Killilea is a Managing Director with W Capital and specializes in the direct secondary asset class in growth stage private equity and provides flexible liquidity solutions. She joined the firm in 2007. Her investment coverage includes companies such as CollegeNet, Fios, and Green Dot, and she holds board or observer seats on a variety of portfolio companies such American Traffic Solutions and Prodigy Health Group (acquired by Aetna). Previously, Killilea worked at Robertson Stephens and Piper Jaffray. She received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Middlebury College.

4GUSTAVO ALBERELLI

Title:  Managing Director

Currently, Gus Alberelli is Managing Director at Trident Capital specializing in IT security, enterprise software, and technology-enabled services. He holds board or observer positions at Prolexic, AcademixDirect, RevolutionPrep, and Intelepeer. Notably, he invested $12.9 million in Prolexic throughout 2011, which was valued at $187 million when Akamai acquired it in February 2014. Alberelli’s eleven years in the private equity business also includes his work at Kennet Partners and Trinity Ventures. Alberelli received a BA from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

5PAUL MARIANI

A part of the ABS Capital team since 2003, Paul Mariani is currently a General Partner with a focus on business and education service companies. His previous investment experience spans over a decade and is centered around the technology-enabled services, eCommerce, software and digital media sectors. With 15 years in the private equity business, Shane Kim is a Partner and Managing Member of Camden Partners. Kim specializes in payments and transaction processing investments within the business services and healthcare sectors. Kim has extensive experience with portfolio companies such as Masterplan, New Horizons, Vantage Oncology, and CardSystems. His board positions include time at Ingo Money, Bluefin Payment Systems, Santa Rosa Consulting, and Planet Payment. 7JENNIFER BAXTER MOSER

Title:  Partner

As Managing Director at TSG Consumer Partners, Jennifer Moser is responsible for the sourcing, diligence, and execution of private equity transactions of consumer branded companies. In the past, Moser worked as a consultant for Bain & Company and as an analyst for Gap. She received a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. 8DANIEL KIM

Daniel Kim is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount where his current investments include Accela and MicroEdge. Prior to his time at Bregal Sagemount, Kim was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs’ Americas Special Situations Group, where he led investments in the technology sector. He was also Senior Associate at JMI Equity and an analyst at Broadview International. His previous investments also include Ecommerce Industries (sold to The Carlyle Group), TC3 Health (sold to Emdeon), and NetPro Computing (sold to Quest Software). He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and both a BS in Biological Sciences and a BA in Music from Stanford University.

9JESSICA REED

Company:  Alta Equity Partners

Title:  General Partner

Born and raised on the East Coast, Jessica Reed started her career in investment banking after graduating summa cum laude from Babson College. While at Harris Williams & Co. she helped advise middle market companies in the industrial, consumer products, telecommunications and business services sectors. Reed then joined Alta in 2006 and has been involved in the firm’s investments in CombineNet, Truist and Reach Analytics. Additional portfolio company experience includes Cellular One (MTPCS), HMP Communications and Screen Media. Jessica is also a member of the Women’s Association of Venture & Equity (WAVE).

10ADAM STEIN

Title:  Partner

Adam Stein is a Partner at Ares Management and Ares Private Equity Group where he works in a variety of industries. Stein previously served at Merrill Lynch, where he was an Investment Banker/Member in the Global Leveraged Finance Group. Since 2012, Stein has been a Director of 99¢ Only and is also Director of Anchor Blue Retail Group, NM Mariposa Holdings, HO Entertainment, FDO, (House of Blues) Floor & Decor, Marietta Holding Corporation, and Neiman Marcus Group. Stein graduated with distinction from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he received a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

11NATHAN LOCKE

Company:  Kayne Anderson Capital

Title:  Managing Director

After earning a BS in Finance from the University of Utah, Nathan Locke worked as a senior analyst on the finance team of Romney for President and as the controller for the Commonwealth Political Action Committees. Locke is currently a Managing Director for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisor’s growth private equity activities.

12RYAN HINKLE

Ryan Hinkle boasts experience in the Internet, e-commerce, infrastructure and application software sectors across Europe, Australia, and North America. His investments range from growth equity to leverage buyouts, growth buyouts, and platform roll-ups. Hinkle joined Insight Venture Partners in 2003 where he is now Managing Director with major investments that include Hayneedle, Ozsale, AdColony, Kony Solutions, Chegg, Argus Software, and Punch! Software. A technology enthusiast, Hinkle began his career by developing electricity trading productivity tools at PPL Corporation and building software at Morgan Stanley. Hinkle graduated from University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Finance from Wharton and Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

13JONATHAN OKA

Jonathan Oka is a Managing Director of Flexpoint Ford. Prior to joining Flexpoint Ford, Mr. Oka served as an associate of GTCR. Mr. Oka has also worked at McKesson Corporation and as a mergers and acquisitions analyst with Lazard Freres and Co. in New York. 14BRIAN KRUMREI

As a key member of TSG’s investment committee and current Managing Director, Brian Krumrei is responsible for originating new investment opportunities, diligencing new business opportunities, structuring transactions and working with TSG’s portfolio companies. 15BRENDAN CARROLL

Brendan Carroll is a Partner and Co-Founder at Victory Park Capital. Carroll’s responsibilities include executing private debt and equity investment opportunities, providing assistance to portfolio companies, fundraising, and overseeing investor relations. Carroll is a member of the Board of Directors of EMS Holdings I and Enteris Biopharma. Previously, Carroll spent time in investment banking roles at William Blair & Company and Robertson Stephens as well as working for former U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman. Carroll received a BA in government from Georgetown University in 1999 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2004.

16JASON BROWN

Company:  Victory Park Capital

Title:  Partner

Newly-minted Partner at Victory Park Capital in charge of the firm’s Los Angeles office, Jason Brown joined VPC in 2014. He has more than 18 years of experience in financial services that includes time spent at both GE Capital and Comerica Bank. As Managing Director for GE Capital, he and his team provided growth, working capital and turnaround finance to mid-size and large companies. He has also served as the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) where he is a current Los Angeles chapter and global board member. Mr. Brown received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

17SARA NAYEEM

Company:  New Enterprise Associates

After receiving an AB in Biology from Harvard College, where she conducted basic research on cardiac development, Sara Nayeem joined Morgan Stanley as an investment banking analyst. She then attended Yale University, where she received a joint MD / MBA and conducted clinical research on age-related macular degeneration. Nayeem moved on to work in Merrill Lynch’s Global Healthcare Group, where she advised biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device companies on numerous mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions. In 2009, Nayeem joined New Enterprise Associate’s healthcare team, where she specializes in biopharmaceutical investments. She serves on the boards of Mersana and Cydan and as a board observer for Zyngenia and Loxo Oncology. She previously served as a board observer for Epizyme (EPZM), Tesaro (TSRO), and Omthera (acquired by AstraZeneca). She has also been involved in NEA’s investments in Prosensa (RNA), 3-V Biosciences, and Edimer and assists with the management of several of NEA’s publicly traded portfolio companies.

18SCOTTIE WARDELL

Scottie Wardell is Director at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, where she joined in 2010. She spent a few years as a middle market mezzanine debt investor and has since become a growth private equity investor. She has been involved in supporting 14 companies in her career and is now involved in four companies. In the past, Wardell was an Associate at Fortress Investment Group, working in the firm’s Hybrid/Credit, Private Equity, and Hedge Fund businesses. She also worked as an investment-banking analyst at Lehman Brothers. Wardell graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Economics and Psychology.

19ROY BURNS

Roy Burns is a Director at TA Associates, specializing in financial services, business services and other growth services companies. Roy stays busy as Board Director of BluePay Processing, Dealer Tire, and Stadion Money Management as well as Board Observer for First Eagle Investment Management. 20COLIN KEENAN

A former U.S. Marine Corps Captain, Colin Keenan currently serves as Director at Brightwood Capital. Keenan was previously VP of Lazard Freres’ restructuring group, where he focused on the execution of restructuring, distressed M&A, and rescue financing transactions in international spaces. Keenan also worked for Alix Partners in their turnaround and restructuring services. Keenan graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1997 and received an MBA from Columbia University’s Business School in 2006.

21HEATHER SMITH THORNE

Title:  Director

Heather Thorne is Director at Swander Pace Capital. Thorne also currently serves as a Director for Aden & Anais, Frozen Specialties, Gilchrist & Soames, gloProfessional, Renew Life Formulas, and Wholesome Pet Care. Originating and executing leveraged buyouts and other investments in the consumer products, Internet, and media verticals, Thorne was a Vice President at Thomas Bravo. Earlier in her career she worked as part of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s Corporate & Investment Banking division. 22OLIVIER BELZILE

Yet another Manager at Google Capital, Olivier Belzile joined Google in 2009 as a member of their Finance organization where he led efforts for the Chromebook product and assisted client product distribution through the Strategic Partnerships Group. Belzile worked at Fairview Capital, Bodri Capital, and Goldman Sachs. Belzile received an MBA in 2008 from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Yale University in 2002.

23MATT EMERY

Company:  JMI Equity

Title:  Principal

Currently a Director of Capsule Tech and on the Boards of AtTask, PointClickCare, and WhiteHat Security, Matt Emery joined JMI Equity in 2006 and is a Principal specializing in investments in software, healthcare IT, and technology-enabled services businesses. Before joining JMI, Matt was an investment banking analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners and a research associate at Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley. 24ROBERT HASSELL

Previously, Sirbu served as Corporate Development Senior Manager at Skrill, a London-based online payments company, where she focused on global partnerships and strategy projects. Sirbu spent several years at Silver Lake Partners as an Investment Associate; her role consisted of technology private equity investments and portfolio company management. Sirbu began her career at UBS Investment Bank in New York on their Leveraged Finance and Restructuring team. She received her BA in Economics from Harvard College.

26MY LE NGUYEN

My Le Nguyen joined Francisco Partners in 2005 and currently serves as Principal. Matthew Hamilton is a Principal at Summit Partners, where he joined in 2005 with a focus on the growth products & services sector. 32KAPIL VENKATACHALAM

Starting his career at Goldman Sachs and continuing to impress over eight years in the private equity business, Kapil Venkatachalam now sits at Technology Crossover Ventures as Principal, specializing in enterprise software and infrastructure opportunities greater than $30 million. Venkatachalam has invested over $500M in aggregate capital during his career.

33MICHAEL FARRELL

Title:  Principal

Michael Farrell joined Spectrum Equity Investors in August 2009 where he is currently a Principal investing in companies such as BATS Global Markets, EagleView Technologies (formerly Pictometry), and Jagex Limited. In the past, Farrell worked for Landmark Partners and the private equity arm at Michael Tudor Investment Corporation where he specialized in information services, financial technology, and online media companies. 34HOLLY MALONEY

Holly Maloney is a Principal at North Bridge Growth Equity, where she focuses on investment opportunities across the technology and technology-enabled services sectors. Prior to joining North Bridge in 2010, Holly was an Associate at America’s Growth Capital, where she provided mergers & acquisitions and financing advisory services to technology companies. Holly graduated from Bowdoin College, where she majored in Economics.

35HOWARD BORNSTEIN

From selling computers, software, and cellphones in high school to current Principal at Bain Capital Ventures, Howard Bornstein focuses on technology-related services and financial technology companies. Previously, Howard worked for companies including Bain Capital’s Global Private Equity team, McKinsey & Company, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He has vast portfolio company experiences at Warner Chiclott and Proctor & Gamble Pharmaceuticals and is the Co-founder and former Chairman of Philanthropedia, a nonprofit that was acquired by Guidestar.org. Bornstein received his MPP and MBA from Stanford University and an Honors BA with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

36ANDREW COLLINS

Andrew Collins has been on the Summit Partners investment team for the entirety of his 6-year private equity career since joining in 2008 as an Associate, and he has since risen to Principal. With a focus on enterprise software and Internet, his investment and board experience includes RiskIQ, NetWitness (acquired by EMC Corporation), Uber, Wildfire Interactive (acquired by Google), WebAction, Wowza Media Systems and Ubiquiti Networks. 37BOB NYE

Based in Baltimore, Bob Nye joined JMI Equity in 2005 where he is currently a Principal supporting the firm’s investments in Adknowledge, Dean Evans & Associates, and BrightLine. Nye is also currently a director of DoubleVerify and Undertone as well as a member of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) Board of Directors. Previously, Nye was a consultant with Bates White, an economic consulting firm focused on econometric and statistical modeling. He graduated from Princeton University.

38DAVID CALUORI

David Caluori is a Principal at Welsh, Carson, Anderson, & Stowe with expertise in healthcare investing. Prior to joining WCAS in 2005, David worked as an investment banker at Jefferies & Co. and Piper Jaffray. David graduated from Brown University in 2002.

Usama Cortas is a Principal at Leonard Green & Partners. 40WINSTON CHOW

Winston Chow is currently Vice President at PineBridge Investments and a member of the Board of Directors of Personal Communications Devices. In the past, Chow worked for GE Capital, mainly in their Global Sponsor Finance group, where he provided debt and equity capital to financial sponsors. Chow also worked as an Associate at Comdisco Ventures, providing venture debt and equity capital to early-stage technology companies, and at Goldman Sachs as a Financial Analyst in its Credit Risk Management and Advisory group.
