Biography

Sean is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Volition Capital, where he leads the Software Investment Team. Sean’s current board directorships and investments include ABCS Insights, Automatiq, Black Kite, Cohora, Creatio, Digital Onboarding, Growth Signals, hackajob, Kombo, OneDay, Millions, Tracelink, Zenarate. His past board directorships and investments include Assent (acquired by Vista Equity), GlobalTranz (acquired by Jordan & Co.), Ping Identity (acquired by Vista Equity), iPipeline (acquired by Thoma Bravo), Visual IQ (acquired by Nielsen), JazzHR (acquired by Employ), and Velocify (acquired by Ellie Mae). Before co-founding Volition Capital in 2010, Sean was an investor at Fidelity Ventures and Summit Partners. Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
