Biography

As a Managing Director on Summit Partners’ Technology Team, Andy brings more than 17 years of experience partnering with and supporting the growth of category-defining technology companies. Since joining Summit in 2008, Andy has built deep sector expertise across multiple technology subsectors – including cybersecurity and infrastructure software; horizontal and vertical applications; e-commerce marketplaces; and communications technology – which has helped him to recognize significant emerging trends and productively partner with companies at pivotal stages of their development.


Over his tenure, Andy has led or played a significant role in investments totaling over $1.9 billion in capital. His current investment and board experience includes Furnished Finder, Jamf (NASDAQ: JAMF), Jungle Scout, NinjaOne, Output, Podium Corporation, Recharge, and Striim. Andy’s prior experience includes InfoArmor (acquired by Allstate Corporation), NetWitness (acquired by EMC Corporation), Reverb.com (acquired by Etsy), Red Canary (acquired by Zscaler), RiskIQ (acquired by Microsoft), Uber (NYSE: UBER), Ubiquiti (NYSE: UI, formerly Ubiquiti Networks), Wildfire Interactive (acquired by Google), and Winshuttle (acquired by Symphony Technology Group).
