Harley Miller, Managing Partner & CEO

At Left Lane, CEO Harley Miller has a strong investment focus on consumer subscription and software businesses, marketplace models, and fintech. Operationally, he focuses on fund leadership and strategy, as well as fundraising. Harley currently holds a director seat at GoStudent, M1 Finance, Bilt, Masterworks, Jackpocket, Choco, and many more Left Lane companies. 

After graduating from the Wharton School in 2011, Harley joined Insight and focused on sourcing and conducting due diligence on Internet and software deals. While at Insight, he sourced and/or held board roles on 36 companies. Harley currently continues to hold a director seat at EquipmentShare and an observer seat at Blablacar. In 2017, he received the Forbes 30 Under 30 Award in Venture Capital.

Dan Ahrens, Managing Partner

At Left Lane, Managing Partner Dan Ahrens’ investments have focused on fintech, consumer subscription, and B2B2C business models. Operationally, he has continued to shape the firm’s investment evaluation and due diligence, fund strategy and operations, and portfolio management and value add. Dan currently holds director seats at M1 Finance, Wayflyer, Moove, Exo Freight, Arc, and more Left Lane companies.

Dan graduated from Duke University in 2012 with a BS in economics and political science and a minor in mathematics. He joined Boston Consulting Group in 2012, where, for nearly four years, he focused on growth strategy work in the consumer processed goods, retail and consumer payments spaces. Dan joined Insight in early 2016 on the Insight Onsite team. At Insight he held board roles with Ownbackup, Equipmentshare, Floqast, Joytunes and others.

Jason Fiedler, Managing Partner

At Left Lane, Managing Partner Jason Fiedler has a strong investment focus on Direct-to-Consumer ecommerce, supply-driven marketplaces and foodtech businesses. Operationally, he has focused on thesis- and network-based sourcing, firm brand, and team culture. Jason currently holds a director seat at Tovala, Blank Street, Talkiatry, Smalls, and more Left Lane companies.

Jason graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a BS in economics. In 2013, he joined Uber as an early employee and Operations Manager. Jason was responsible for launching and managing three of Uber’s first 100 markets and developing the strategy and playbook for remote markets. In 2015, he joined Red Sea Ventures where he was most recently a Principal. In 2018, Jason received the Forbes 30 Under 30 Award in Venture Capital and in 2022 he received GrowthCap’s 40 Under 40 Award.

Vinny Pujji, Managing Partner

At Left Lane, Managing Partner Vinny Pujji has a strong investment focus on edtech, prosumer and small business software, and hybrid subscription business models. Operationally, he focuses on sourcing technology and investment team recruiting. Vinny graduated with a BS in economics from The Wharton School and a BA in international studies from The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Spanish. Before joining Insight in 2014, he founded companies in ecommerce enablement and education. Starting in 2010, he was an early employee at Ampush, where he scaled Facebook performance marketing campaigns for Udemy, Walgreens, Dollar Shave Club and more. At Insight, Vinny initially worked primarily on software buyout transactions, and then later shifted to working on early growth investments. Vinny has held board member or observer seats at Chargebee, Duco, BharatPe, Featurespace, Harver, Copado, Ceres Imaging, Numetric and Detectify.
